About Jacob

In 2011, Jacob turned six (6) years old and received a gift of a kid’s go-kart. As the first domino fell, so began the journey to the top of motorsports. With a passion for racing and hard work, winning came swiftly and consistently. After being a dominant force in kid kart racing, Jacob was dominating cadet racing in all the local and regional series. By age eight (8), Jacob had already won the regional Rotax Championship which gave him the opportunity to represent the United States against the best 8–12-year-old kart racers from around the world; as the youngest competitor Jacob finished a respectable 13th in a field of 40. As the experience and years accumulated, Jacob would stack up event wins, and local and regional titles in multiple kart classes. 

With great results from Coast to Coast, Jacob attracted the attention of famous British multi-time world kart champion and driving coach, Terry Fullerton. Famous for defeating F1 racing legend Ayrton Senna and in his opinion recognized as the greatest driver, Fullerton is a full-time professional driving coach with highly successful clients from karts to F1; his biography is long and storied. Fullerton saw the value in investing his time and expertise into Jacob. With Terry’s help, Jacob developed the additional details and skills required to separate himself from the field nationally. Jacob and his family will forever be thankful for the special time with Terry.

The excellent 2018-2019 results brought Jacob national recognition and a move into shifter karts, the kings of the sport. The results followed as Jacob won titles in LAKC and SKUSA in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

After an established kart career, Jacob made the jump to cars in 2022. In an effort to find the best fit, Jacob was fortunate to drive a Formula Ford, Formula Continental, Spec Miata, and a GT 500 in several sanctioning bodies including SCCA, NASA, SVRA, VARA, and various track days. 2022 provided the necessary learning time to hone his skills in both formula and full-bodied cars.

In 2023, Jacob will make the big step up to the Trans Am series. As part of the United States longest running series, Jacob is looking forward to the challenge of reigning in the raw horsepower and challenge of a Trans Am race car, and competing for the championship and rookie of the year.
